Hiren Divakar Katkar, was born in Mumbai at 16 Th October1987.As a lead guitarist and bassist, Hiren Katkar offers a unique perspective to Guitar Hall students, both as an accomplished guitarist/bassist and a passionate educator.
Hiren’s broad and varied playing experience runs the gamut from playing guitar with different projects like Zephyr, Sacred Cult and then later shifting to playing bass.Currently Hiren does bass duties for ‘Frozen Chimes’ a Rock band based in Mumbai. As a musician, Hiren was Interviewed on Radio Mirchi 98.3 and played a tribute to 26/11 Terrorist attack.Hiren’s band has also opened for Luke Kenny and the Band.Hiren’s band are als winners of Sprite Channel V rockers.Hiren cites his influences as Pink Floyd,led Zeppelin, Pearl Jam, RHCP, Incubus, Motherjane, Avial, John Mayer, Dave Mattews, John Denver and many more.Apart from teaching at Guitar Hall and performing with his rock band Hiren also works for a Non Profit organization which promote extra curricular activities in different fields.

Not only is Hiren an active guitarist playing and performing professionally, but he also holds a deep personal commitment and passion for teaching and training other guitarists to excel in their talents. With Guitar Hall, he has taught hundreds of guitar lessons to players of all ages and skill levels—helping them go from where they are to where they want to be.
Whether it is playing the bass guitar with his band, acoustic guitar in a Guitar Hall classroom, or electric guitar for thousands with his side projects, Hiren’s musical excellence and versatility combined with a gift for communicating in an easily understood and practical way is a major asset to his Guitar Hall students and a key to the incredible success of the Guitar Hall branches he has taught at.

Nayan,born and brought up in Mumbai, has a tremendous amount of performing experience behind him and has been playing Guitar since 7 years.He is also the lead guitarist for various bands.He also plays for recordings like Jingles and Bollywood.
Nayan is one of those individuals who is deeply passionate about music, guitar playing and helping others by sharing his knowledge from his many years as an all round musician.Nayan believes that a Musician should be a versatile player. So being a Lead Guitarist of bands of different Genre i.e from Metal to Jazz, he trains his Guitar Hall students to play various Genres of Music.
Because of his deep knowledge of music theory and performance,Nayan is a full-time teacher with Guitar Hall.“I was approached at a gig and asked if I would teach, and have been doing it ever since. I find it extremely rewarding to share the knowledge and experience I have accrued over the years.” says Nayan.
The Practical and the theoretical meet as Nayan is a balanced teacher specialising in contemporary Rock, Blues and Jazz guitar.
” I’m mainly concentrating on teaching my students how to play this beautiful instrument.”says Nayan.

Yash Shah picked up the guitar at the age of 16. After playing as a rhythm guitarist in many bands, he later switched to Bass and never looked back. He now plays for the band ‘Tortuga’, a band which has gigged at several places including Mumbai’s legendary Not just Jazz By The Bay.

His musical influences include Deep Purple, Queen, Aerosmith, AC/DC, Dire Straits, Eagles, John Petrucci, Joe Satriani, Stanely Clarke, Marcus Miller, Victor Wooten, John Patitucci.

Born and bought up in Guwahati, Nawaz Hussain had the passion for drumming since he was 14 years old. He started practicing on his own and formed a band to introduce himself to the scene in Guwahati. His band Abbot was one of the most popular bands at a time in Guwahati and Nawaz Hussain was considered one of the best metal drummers of Assam. He also bagged a lot of best drummer awards in various competitions.

After a few years, he moved to mumbai to take formal training under Trinity Rock School. He has already completed Grade Five and has developed many styles of drumming over the years. Esu Prasad babu,born and brought up in Port Blair,Andaman and Nicobar islands, started learning music at the age of 11. A huge passion for learning music was in place right from a tender age. He used to spend a lot of time from his childhood in God,prayers and Music under the guidance of his church Pastor Rev.J.Aaron Raj, who was his first teacher and he was the person who introduced him to Guitar playing. Apart from learning Guitar and Keyboard in his church he also took a lot of interest in song writing and composing music for church congregation/mass during his teen years.

At the Outset, he did not have a standard Instrument of his own except a mini keyboard, however he learned keyboard and guitar in his church and got well versed with both the instruments by the time he turned 18.Apart from learning music he also performed regularly in his college (J.N.R.M Degree college,Port Blair) and also got involved with Local Doordarshan Programme and All India Radio, Port Blair as an instrument player.

In the year 2005, he was invited to join “Star Orchestra” a local music group for part time job as a Keyboard Player, after that he worked with many Groups in Andaman for Music Assistance, also gave background music for local Telefilms and Live stage Shows like Drama, Plays.

It was around this time he came to know about Guitar Hall being India’s number one school of music and he decided to fly all the way to Mumbai from Port Blair to get trained under the able guidance of Kiran Roy and Dhruv Rathod.For the next six years he continued coming to Mumbai to complete all the Guitar Hall Modules.Esu says, “Inspite of already having a vast experience in learning and playing music I felt the need for professional guidance, so I went to ‘Guitar Hall’ where I got a totally new experience of learning Music with wonderful teachers and specially Mr.Kiran Roy Sir, who has showed me a new way to reach my goals and showed me nothing is impossible in life if you have the right attitude and if you are ready to work hard,very hard.Santosh,Chetan,Aman, Dhruv they all are dynamic musicians and all of the teachers from Guitar Hall have supported me to step forward in learning & teaching Music as their own family members. There I have successfully completed my advanced level programs.”

Apart from doing the advanced level courses at Guitar Hall, In the year 2009 Esu alongwith his musical partner Mr.Murugan together formed a music Group’Island Rock Band Social &Cultural Association’-(A troupe of Island Born Musician/Singers/Artists) and got registred with A&N Admn.and till this date they are running It successfully for the harmony of Local Islanders and General Public.

Presently Esu is the man in charge of Guitar Hall – Port Blair and his center teaches Guitar, Keyboard, drums,tabla, congo,trumpets and vocals in Andaman &Nicobar Islands. “It is all because of the gracious support of Mr.Kiran Sir and Guitar Hall and I am in a position to work in the field of music for the cultural harmony of people of Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
