As you will discover, the abilities of our craftsmen stretch way beyond the excelling and developing new ideas and making a varied array of instruments.

With over a century between them of accumulated experience of guitar-building the GH Series craftsmen share, along with their matchless abilities as individual craftsmen, a true passion for the acoustic guitar. As well as their consummate expertise in designing and making exceptional guitars, many of the craftsmen are accomplished musicians, with the ability to create not only the body of the instrument itself, but also to understand and shape the character of the tone it produces. Unquestionably the development of tonal quality is paramount to our approach to guitar construction and design, coupled with meticulous building methods, the use of superior seasoned rosewoods,maple wood and mahogany and our knowledge of the dynamics of sound box design. In this way GH Series craftsmen can harness the power and vibrancy of soundbox acoustic dynamics into an ensemble of resonant voices to give the player a rich, expressive and varied tone palette.

Our Process

We begin with specially selected wood selected for its tonal characteristics that is aged for over 18 months in order to let the wood mature and become genuine before its dry treatment.  All wooden material measured with over 8 degrees of humidity is immediately discarded from the production process. A dedicated team of artisans collaborate together with the use of modern precision instruments in a variety of controlled environments of less than 60 degrees of humidity throughout the production process. The several stages of sanding by our skilled workers are key points in the final stages before proficient coating. Continuous quality control inspections are executed throughout the production process up till the moment before they are shipped out so that we can proudly offer guitarists a flawless guitar.

GH Series craftsmen are gifted artisans with immense skill and pride in the work produced by their hands. We readily acknowledge technological advances in modern guitar production, but here at Guitar Hall, our preference is to rely as far as possible on the expertise and discernment of the craftsmen, their intuition and instinct. The true tools of the artisan are his expertise, judgment and discretion at every stage of manufacture to ensure the final result will be as near perfect as possible.

GH Legacy Series

The GH ‘Legacy’ series features a large yet comfortable sound-box. It has a powerful, perfectly balanced sound and is a delight to play. GH’s trademark designs and meticulous construction methods combine in this instrument bring incredible projection and sensitivity to playing dynamics unparalleled in an acoustic guitar. The resulting tone and volume is emphatic – loud yet subtle, rich and complex and capable of intimate expression when needed.

GH Premier Series

The GH ‘premier’ Series range encapsulates the power and resonance of the larger legacy series, and packs it into this stylish graceful format. The GH ‘premier’ series is designed for versatility, blending the needs of the strumming flatpicker with the spectrum of colours required by the fingerpicker.

GH Master Series

The GH ‘master’ series models contradict their compact proportions by producing a rich and sumptuous tone. Their personality is quite distinctive: a cleanly focused midrange complimented by sparkling trebles and strong bass response. This guitar’s inviting dimensions produce an imposing tone suitable for a wide range of musical styles. Powerful trebles are beautifully balanced by a compact warm bass register. The overall sound and projection are truly amazing for such a small guitar.

GH Dreadnought Series

The GH ‘dreadnought’ series is inspired by the traditional shape of the classic dreadnought design, receiving from us a makeover to deliver additional volume and tonal excellence. It has been innovatively developed to add vibrancy and clarity to the sound using design features found on other GH Series guitars. With superb balance this guitar has reserves of volume and projection to draw on if required. It is as comfortable and natural as it is familiar.
